Account & Billing
How do I create an account?+
Visit contentio.io/signup to get started. You can sign up with email, Google, or LinkedIn. Every plan includes a free trial.
What plans are available?+
Contentio offers three plans, each starting with a free trial: Plus ($14/month — 16 posts, advanced AI), Premium ($36/month — 60 posts, 1,500 AI credits, full automation, series support), and Creator ($72/month — 150 posts, 5,000 AI credits, highest priority support).
How do I cancel or change my plan?+
Go to Settings → Subscription and click "Manage Subscription." You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time. Changes take effect at your next billing cycle.
Do you offer refunds?+
Yes. If you are not satisfied within the first 7 days of a paid plan, contact support for a full refund.
What payment methods do you accept?+
We accept all major credit and debit cards, plus Link and Cash App for U.S. customers, through our payment processor Polar. Enterprise invoicing is available on request.
Content Creation
How does AI post generation work?+
Contentio uses OpenAI models trained on your voice, tone, and traits. You can generate posts from news articles, custom topics, or trending content. The AI drafts a post in seconds; you review, edit, and publish.
What is voice training?+
Voice training teaches the AI your writing style. Upload your best-performing posts, set personality traits and tonality preferences, and every future draft will sound like you wrote it on your best day.
Can I generate articles and tweets too?+
Yes. Contentio generates LinkedIn posts, long-form articles, tweet/X threads, and content ideas. You can also convert a LinkedIn post into a tweet instantly.
What are templates?+
Templates are reusable post structures (e.g., "Hot take", "Listicle", "Story arc"). You can use built-in templates or create custom ones that match your style.
Scheduling & Automation
How do I schedule a post?+
After generating or writing a post, click "Schedule" and pick a date/time. Scheduled posts appear in your Planner calendar. Contentio publishes them automatically via your connected LinkedIn or X account.
What is the automation engine?+
The automation engine auto-generates posts at your preferred cadence using your voice settings, templates, and content sources. You review and approve before anything is published.
Can I connect LinkedIn and X (Twitter)?+
Yes. Go to Settings → Connections to link your LinkedIn and X accounts. Once connected, Contentio can publish directly on your behalf.
What happens if I exceed my monthly post limit?+
You will need to wait until your usage resets at the start of your billing cycle, or upgrade to a higher plan for more generous limits.
Graphics Studio
What is Graphics Studio?+
Graphics Studio is a built-in visual editor for creating LinkedIn carousels, branded graphics, and slide decks. No design tools required — just pick a template, customize, and export.
Can I export carousels as PDF or images?+
Yes. You can export your graphics as PDF (for LinkedIn carousel uploads), PNG, or JPEG. Exports are available on all plans.
Can I generate a carousel from an existing post?+
Yes. From any generated post, click "Create Carousel" to automatically turn the post content into a multi-slide visual carousel.
Privacy & Security
Is my data private?+
Yes. Your data is isolated using Row-Level Security (RLS) in our database. Only you can access your content, drafts, and settings. We never share your data with third parties.
How is my LinkedIn data used?+
We only use LinkedIn data you explicitly provide (e.g., profile import for optimization). We do not scrape, store, or sell your LinkedIn connections or messages.
Where can I read the privacy policy?+
Our full privacy policy is available at contentio.io/privacy-policy. We are GDPR compliant and update the policy regularly.
Troubleshooting
The app is not loading or showing errors.+
Try a hard refresh (Ctrl+F5 or Cmd+Shift+R), disable ad blockers or privacy extensions, or try an incognito window. If the issue persists, sign out and sign back in.
My scheduled post did not publish.+
Check that your LinkedIn or X connection is still active in Settings → Connections. If the connection expired, re-authorize and re-schedule the post.
AI generation seems slow or stuck.+
AI generation streams in real time. If it stalls, refresh the page and try again. Check the system status page at contentio.io/status for any ongoing incidents.
