How to get the best results from AI Training? My posts still sound generic
I completed the AI training with 5 of my LinkedIn posts, but honestly the generated content still feels a bit... off.
It's grammatically correct and professional, but it doesn't quite sound like ME. My posts usually have:
- Specific tech recruiting stories
- A casual, conversational tone
- Occasional humor/wit
The AI outputs are good but feel more "corporate" than my actual voice.
Any tips on making the training work better? Should I use more posts? Different types of posts?

I had the same issue initially! Here's what worked for me:
Use your BEST posts - Pick the ones that got the most engagement. Those represent your authentic voice at its most effective.
Variety matters - Include different types (story posts, tips, opinions, questions). This gives the AI a fuller picture.
More is better - 5 posts is the minimum. I used 10 and saw a huge improvement. If you have 15-20 good ones, even better.
Edit the originals first - Before training, make sure your source posts are exactly how you'd want to sound.
Use the revision feature - After generating, use "Revise" with specific instructions like "make it more casual" or "add a touch of humor".
The AI learns patterns, so the more consistent and characteristic your training data, the better the output!

This is incredibly helpful, Marcus! I only used 5 posts and they were kind of random. Let me re-do the training with my top performers. Quick question - can I delete my current training data and start fresh?
Official Account
Yes! In Strategy โ Training, you'll see a "Reset Training" option. This clears all previous data so you can start fresh.
Pro tip: We recommend using at least 8-10 posts for best results. Include posts from different content types to give the AI a comprehensive view of your style.

Adding to Marcus's excellent advice: I found that including posts with different emotional tones helps too. I had 3 inspirational posts, 3 practical tips, and 2 funny/relatable stories. The AI now captures my range pretty well!

UPDATE: Re-did my training with 12 of my best posts following this advice. HUGE difference! The output now sounds way more like me. Thanks everyone! ๐
